Description

Keepers Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Woodbastwick, built from flint with brick dressings and featuring a thatched roof. The cottage consists of two cells and is 1½ storeys high, with a rear outshut covered in pantiles. The south-facing facade has three windows and a central door. The ground floor windows are ovolo moulded, fitted with wrought iron casements and leaded lights, and feature 17th-century splayed brick reveals. There are three wedge dormers with 20th-century two-light casement windows that include glazing bars. Architectural details include a plinth, brick dentil eaves, moulded brick kneelers, parapet gables, and end stacks. An attached barn is located to the west, but it is not considered of special interest.
