Description

The remains of the west tower of the Church of St. Lawrence date from the 15th century and are located in South Walsham. This ruined church tower is constructed of flint with limestone dressings. Only the base of the tower remains, following a fire in 1827 and a subsequent collapse in 1971. The structure is now virtually completely covered by ivy. Visible features include the remains of a plinth with flushwork panels.
