Description
Neave's Mill is a tower draining mill built around 1870. It features a tapering brick tower that rises four stories. On the south side, there is a segmental-headed door located beneath a segmental-headed window. The north side has another door and a window on the second floor. The mill has a weatherboarded skirt and a boat-shaped cap, which is now covered with aluminium protective cladding. It includes cast iron sheer extensions that support the fanstage, a cast iron brakewheel, and a windshaft. Inside, there is a wallower and a timber upright shaft, along with a crownwheel, worm and worm hangers, and a shot curb with a rack.
