Description

This is a five-story tower mill, dated 1715, but significantly restored around 1976. The core of the mill is a battered brick tower, with the top story partially rebuilt. A doorway with a cambered head is located on the first floor, now accessed by a new staging platform. Each floor contains small windows, also with cambered heads. The wooden ogee cap, common sails, and fantail are recent reconstructions intended to replicate the original appearance. The windshaft is secondhand and is believed to have originated from a mill in Norfolk. A large, modern house situated alongside the mill is not considered of architectural significance.
