Description
No. 34 on High Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and features four windows. It curves around the corner from High Street to College Street. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate, and has a parapet in front of the central section. The building has sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals, although the central window on the first floor is blocked. The ground floor has a discreet shop front. This building occupies an important corner site and has significant group value, particularly with No. 36 and The Red Lion Hotel on College Street.
