Description

Border Cottage and The Old Cottage are two early 17th century cottages, each two storeys high with two windows. They feature a high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped on the left side and half hipped on the right. The first floor is tile hung and overhanging, while the ground floor is rendered. There is visible timber work with rendered filling on the returns. The first floor has replaced casement windows. On the ground floor, there are three canted bays and one flat window. The central doors are distinct, with the door of Border Cottage having six panels, two of which are glazed, while the door of The Old Cottage is plain.
