Description
Yew Tree Farm Cottage is a cottage with a core dating from the 17th century, which was remodelled in the 19th century. It features a timber frame encased in brick and has a thatched roof. The building is three bays wide and one and a half storeys tall. A 20th-century planked door is located to the right of the centre, leading to a baffle entry under a 20th-century open thatched porch made of timber on a brick plinth. To the right, there is a 19th-century canted single-storey bay with a tiled roof, and to the left, there are two three-light casements set in moulded brick openings. Above, there are three 19th-century three-light casements built on the original wallplate. The roof features a decorated ridge, and there are gable end stacks as well as a ridge stack to the left of centre.
