Description
Riverside Cottages is a building originally consisting of three cottages, now converted into one dwelling. It dates from the 18th century, with a 19th-century addition. The structure is made of brick with blue headers and is colourwashed on the right side, featuring thatched and slated roofs. The original two-storey, two-bay 18th-century cottages have had their central doors bricked up, although the door on the left has been replaced with a small casement window. Each floor has a 3-light leaded segmental casement window on either side. There are gable end stacks and a 20th-century lean-to on the left end. The mid-19th-century addition on the right is lower and includes a 20th-century glazed door with a segmental head in the right bay, along with three 19th-century 3-light segmental headed casements. The roof is slated and features a central ridge stack.
