Description
50 and 52 College Street is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed house that has been re-fronted in the early 18th century. The building is two storeys high and features four windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with a large chimney positioned to the left of the center. The front is made of lime-washed brick and includes a band at the first floor. The first-floor windows are diamond leaded casements, while the ground-floor windows are horizontal sliding sashes with bars. There is a plaster-faced brick door surround at No 50. At the rear, there is a narrow gabled extension, and stout timber framing is visible at the right rear angle.
