Description

Fir Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century building located on College Street. It is a two-storey structure with a steeply pitched, tiled double-span roof; the front span is half-hipped, while the rear span is fully hipped. A central chimney is positioned on the rear of the front roof ridge. The building features a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The first floor is tile-hung on the returns, while the front is brick. It has sash windows with glazing bars, and a corniced hood supported on cut brackets above the front door.
