Description
Nos 19, 20, and 21 on Station Street are a house that has been converted into a restaurant and cottage. The building dates from the 18th century or earlier and has been clad in the 19th century. The right side may be timber-framed with plastered cladding, while the left side has been rebuilt in painted brick, with the eaves raised slightly and the wall projecting a little at this point. The roof is slate and has a shallower pitch on the left side. The building is two storeys high and features an irregular arrangement of three windows on the first floor, with casements and a glazing bar sash on the left. On the ground floor, there is a wide shopfront on the left and in the centre, with pilasters supporting a cornice over a wide glazing-barred window on the extreme left and a pair of later 20th-century casements in the centre. There is a sliding sash window on the right. To the right of the left-hand shopfront, there is a panelled door, and another panelled door is located to the left of the right-hand window.
