Description

No 71 is a house from the early 19th century, built with grey headers and red brick quoins and dressings. It has a slate roof with a stack on the right side. The building stands three storeys tall and features a band above the first floor. The front has a single window, with sashes set in red brick dressed surrounds that have gauged heads; the window on the second floor is shallower than those below. The entrance is located to the left and is framed by a round-arched moulded surround, complete with key- and impost blocks. To the right of the entrance, there is a cast-iron railed area with arrow-head railings. This property is included for its group value.
