Description

No 70 on North Street is an early 19th-century house. It features grey headers with red brick dressings and quoins, topped by a slate roof with a stack on the left. The building has three storeys and a band above the ground floor. It has a single window front with glazing bar sashes set in red brick dressed surrounds with gauged heads; the window on the second floor is shallower than those below. The entrance is located to the right of the plastered ground floor and has a round-arched rusticated surround. This house is included for its group value.
