Description

This early 19th-century house stands on the west side of North Street in Lewes. It is constructed of grey brick with painted brick quoins and dressings. The roof is covered in slate and features a modillioned wooden eaves cornice, a stack to the left, and a segment-headed dormer.

The house is three storeys high and has a single window facing the street. A shallow casement window is on the second floor, a margin-light sash window on the first floor, and a canted shopfront with arched lights is on the ground floor to the right. A panelled door is situated on the left-hand side, topped by an inset fanlight and a flat pentice hood supported by brackets. The building is listed for its group value.
