Description
Soal Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century with early 20th-century alterations. The lower walls are made of brickwork, some of which is painted, while the upper part is tile-hung, revealing the framework in one section. The roof is tiled, half-hipped, and features tie-hung gables, along with several small dormers at two levels, each with hipped roofs. This timber-framed house includes a crosswing and a substantial extension on the west end that showcases the Arts and Crafts style. It has two storeys and an attic, with irregular fenestration and casement windows. There are also several boarded doors set in plain frames.
