Description

Vine Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later work in the early 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of exposed timber framing with brick infill, some areas featuring herringbone ironstone infill, and brick walling in English bond, with flintwork and brick quoins. The roof is hipped and thatched, with two eyebrow dormers. The cottage is timber-framed with short extensions at each end and a 20th-century rear extension. The east front is two storeys and one storey and attic, with irregular window placement. Casement windows are present. There are two boarded doors in plain frames.
