Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage located on the north side of East Street in Lewes. The cottage is plastered with a moulded wooden eaves cornice, and has a slate roof with a tall end stack on the left and a flat-headed dormer. It is two storeys high with an attic. The front elevation features a single sash window within a moulded wooden surround. A half-glazed front door is positioned on the right-hand side, sheltered by a flat hood supported by brackets. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value within the streetscape.
