Description
This is a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. The left-hand side of the ground floor is stuccoed, with plain tile hanging above. The right-hand side features mathematically-tiled cladding with platbands dividing the ground and first floors. A modillioned eaves cornice runs along the slate roof, which has end stacks to the left and right, and a wide, flat-headed dormer window to the right of the centre. The houses are three storeys high, with an attic on the right-hand side. The front has a two-window arrangement; it features sash windows to the left, with a canted oriel bay on the first floor and a moulded cornice. The right-hand side has tripartite sash windows on all floors, the second-floor windows being slightly shallower than those below. A central, paired entrance is set within a pilastered surround, featuring a central pilaster and an entablature hood. Each side has panelled doors, with the upper pair of panels glazed.
