Description
This is a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century, prominently located on the north side of East Street, Lewes. The building is constructed with red mathematical tiles, topped by a plain tiled roof with a central ridge stack and two flat-headed dormers. The front of the building presents two windows per floor, with entrances at the left and right extremes. The windows are tripartite sashes, except for the first-floor canted oriel bays, which feature moulded cornices. A panelled door is located on the left, and a half-glazed door on the right, both set within pilastered surrounds and sheltered by entablature hoods.
