Description
This is a house located at 17 East Street, built in the early to mid-19th century. The building features grey headers with red quoins, a band, and dressings. It has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a slate mansard roof, which includes an end stack on the left and two end stacks on the parapet to the right. There are two flat-headed dormers. The house is two storeys tall with attics and has a slightly irregular three-window front. The windows include three glazing bar sashes in brick-dressed surrounds with gauged heads on the first floor and one on the ground floor to the right. To the left, there is a wide brick-dressed segmental gauged arch with boarded doors, and to the left of centre, a round-headed brick-dressed arch with a gauged head, featuring a panelled door and a fanlight.
