Description

This is a cottage forming part of a row, likely dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. The exterior is rendered, with a visible rubble plinth. The roof is thatched, with an asbestos-cement slate verge on the right side and a raised verge on the left. The cottage has two storeys and originally three windows. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casements with glazing bars. The first floor has two 16-pane sash windows, each with a central recessed blank panel. A 20th-century glazed door, covered by a thatched hood supported by "rustic" posts, is centrally positioned. Gable stacks, cropped at the ridge, are present on the left side. The building is included on the listing for its group value. An attached bay to the left, beyond the thatched section, is not considered to be of special interest.
