Description

Rose Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located at the end of a short row in the centre of Ringmore village. It features a rendered exterior with a tarred plinth and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and three windows. On the ground floor, there is a three-light horizontal bar casement with a wooden lintel on either side of a 20th-century pent-roof porch with slate-stone cheeks. The first floor has three two-light horizontal bar casements with eyebrow detailing. The interior has been modified. This modest dwelling is slightly set back from the adjoining Rock Cottage, but it plays an important role in completing a key group of buildings in the village centre.
