Description
Rivermeade is a house with an attached front garden wall, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed, dressed gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with the garden wall extending across the Mill Street frontage. The house has large quoins and a central doorway that has an ashlar surround, leading to a door with six fielded panels, the top two of which are glazed. The windows are two-light mullioned with square-faced surrounds and chamfered mullions, although the ground floor ones have been renewed. The house also has plain sashes, plain kneelers, and ashlar gable copings, along with blue-brick end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. The low garden wall features triangular copings and square-sectioned gatepiers located opposite the front door.
