Description
Rock View is a house from the 18th century, constructed of roughcast limestone with gritstone dressings. It features quoins, moulded kneelers without copings, and a Welsh slated roof. The building has end ashlar ridge stacks, with the eastern stack rebuilt in artificial stone. It stands two storeys high and has two bays, showcasing 2-light flush mullioned windows that have extended heads and cills, along with 20th-century casements. The central doorway, which is massive and quoined, has been blocked, and there are inserted doorways within 20th-century monopitch extensions on the south and east sides, with the southern extension obscuring a ground floor 2-light window.
