Description

Manse House is a house, originally built in the mid-18th century and altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone with an ashlar front, gritstone dressings, and quoins. A projecting eaves band incorporates a moulded eaves gutter, and there are moulded kneelers, coped gables, and a stone slate roof.

The north elevation has three storeys and two bays, featuring single-glazing-bar sashes set within projecting stone surrounds. A doorway on the west side has a segmental pediment and a 20th-century half-glazed door. The south elevation has a shallow gabled stair turret with a three-stage stair window within a projecting surround. A two-storey, single-bay extension is located at the west end, with an edge ridge stack and a Welsh slate roof.
