Description
The Headlands is a house built around 1800. It is constructed of rubble limestone, partially covered in roughcast, and features gritstone dressings, projecting quoins, and a moulded eaves band above a plain band. The house has end ashlar ridge stacks with moulded caps and a stone slated roof. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays with glazing bar sashes set in plain stone frames that are heavily tooled. The ground floor windows have been altered to 20th-century casements. The central doorway is obscured by a single-storey porch that has a pitched roof, a moulded stone door surround, and a 20th-century half-glazed door.
