Description

The Old Brewhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone rubble and features projecting quoins, coved eaves above a plain band, coped gables, rendered end ridge stacks, and a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays, with single glazing bar sashes set in projecting stone frames. The ground floor has 20th-century shop windows with top hung lights. A heavy quoin and lintel frame the central doorway. This building is listed for its group value only.
