Description
Denver House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone, featuring quoins, moulded copings, and kneelers, along with intermediate and north end stone stacks. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and has a gable facing the street. The building stands three storeys tall and has stacked glazing bar sash windows set within heavy 19th-century stone surrounds. The ground floor has a former shop window and door that have been replaced with 20th-century joinery. Additionally, there is a two-light flush mullioned window on the east elevation. The house is listed for its group value only.
