Description
The Primitive Methodist Chapel, dated 1823, is a non-conformist chapel constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. It features projecting quoins, coped gables, and a brick stack on the east gable, topped with a Welsh slated roof. The east elevation showcases a gabled front with two central windows that have semi-circular heads and keyblocks. There are small paned cast iron windows, and doorways on each side with semi-circular heads and keyblocks, surrounded by projecting quoined surrounds. The plain planked doors are topped with semi-circular fanlights and radiating glazing bars. A plaque within the gable is inscribed: "Primitive Methodist Chapel 1823 Enlarged MDCCCL."
