Description
This building is a cartshed, stables, and granary, dated "1652" with later remodelling, located approximately 20 yards northwest of Coxen Green Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a clay tile roof featuring coped verges. The structure has two storeys and about four roof bays. There is a central cart entry, stable doors to the right, right of centre, and left of centre, and a small square window to the left. A first-floor door to the left is accessed by a flight of stone steps, with loft openings to the centre and right, the right one having a boarded door. Additionally, there is a boarded door on the east gable, which is approached by tallet steps.
