Description
Lanehouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was remodeled in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed rubble with rusticated quoins and dressings. The roof is made of clay tiles and features coped gables, along with integral squared and dressed rubble end stacks. The building has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with three windows that have glazing bar sashes topped with cornices. The lintels are grooved to resemble voussoirs, and those on the ground floor have fluted keys. The central door consists of six vertical rectangular panels and includes an over-light. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey wing with four windows.
