Description

The gravestone of John Routledge, dating from 1730, is located approximately 15 yards west of the Church of St. Peter in Falstone. It is made of sandstone and features an arched top with scrolled ends. The gravestone is adorned with swags that frame a moulded recessed panel, which displays a high-relief, well-carved figure of a woman. There is an inscription on the reverse side.
