House, now divided into 2 dwellings. C16-early C17 bastle with mid-C19 extension. Random rubble with boulder plinth, extension ashlar; Welsh slate roofs.

Bastlehouse: 2 storeys plus attics, 3 irregular bays. Almost central half- glazed door in slightly-chamfered surround. Sash window left and right. Above door a small 6-pane fixed window in partly-blocked opening of original 1st-floor doorway. 12-pane sash to right, 16-pane sash to left. Gabled roof with C19 dormers, flat coping and corniced right end stack.

Extension to right 2 storeys, 2 broad bays with central doorway. Gabled stone porch and sash windows. Gabled roof.with corniced end stack.

To rear bastlehouse has continuous outshut.

Interior walls c.5ft. thick on ground floor, c.4 ft. on 1st floor.
