Description
The United Reformed Church, originally a Presbyterian Church, was built in 1807 and restored with a tower added in 1876. It is constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. This single-cell building has one storey and four bays. The two central windows from 1807 are broad and round-headed, featuring raised keystones and imposts, while narrower outer windows were inserted in 1876. An oval date stone from 1807 is located between the central windows.
The tower has a pointed-arched doorway on the south side, with an inscription above that reads "FALSTONE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 1707, 1807, 1876." Above this inscription is a roundel with a heavily-moulded frame and four keystones, which is pierced by a cruciform window. The bell stage of the tower has paired round-headed lancets and is topped with a pyramidal roof that includes a vane.
