Description

FYLINGDALES THE BOLTS NZ 9505 (north side) 6.10.69 Robin Hood's Bay 17/20 No 2 6.10.69 GV II House, later C18. Finely-coursed sandstone of near-ashlar quality; pantiled roof with stone copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays, slightly irregular. Off-centre 6-panel door, with cornice head and blocked radial fanlight, in open-pedimented bracketed wood hood. At either side on both floors 16-pane sashes with projecting cills. Square-headed dormer on eaves has 6-pane fixed light and 6-pane slider; bracketed soffit. Flattish curved kneelers and banded end chimneys.
