Description

Bramblewick is a house, likely dating from the late 18th century, situated on the north side of Robin Hood's Bay. It is constructed from lightly-tooled coursed sandstone of good quality and has a pantiled roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys and an attic, with an irregular three-bay facade. A six-panel door is positioned slightly to the left of the centre, set within a small, round-arched wooden porch featuring a shallow bracketed hood. Flanking the door are sash windows, with sixteen panes on the ground floor and three twelve-pane sashes on the first floor; all sashes have projecting cills. Two raking dormers top the roof, each containing a six-pane sash and a deep bracketed soffit. End chimneys are present, although without copings.
