Description

This building is a cottage that was formerly a wash kitchen, located opposite Sunny Vale in Robin Hood's Bay. It features fine herringbone-tooled sandstone and has a pantiled roof that does not have a chimney. The front of the cottage facing the road is blank, and the roof is hipped to the north. On the left side, there is a 6-panel door, a 9-pane sash window, and a modern fixed light. The stonework has been altered, and the windows are now situated in what were previously doorways. There is one fixed light on the right side of the building and a plain modern casement window on the river front. This cottage is included for its group value.
