Description
Sea View Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone and features a pantiled roof with a stone ridge, coping, and kneeler, along with a stone stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. There is a plinth and four steps leading up to a central six-panel door. On both floors, there are flanking 16-pane sash windows, and at the centre of the first floor, there is an 8-pane fixed light. The cottage also has two flat-headed dormers with 10-pane casements. The gable has coping and a prominent kneeler on the right side, which also features a cornice-banded chimney. There is a small, nearly contemporary extension on the right with a fixed light. On the right return, there is a small attic casement and a small sash window in the extension.
