Description
Langwood is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone. It features a pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, and kneelers, along with a rendered brick stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with one wide bay. The right side has a six-panel door that is top-glazed and sits beneath a bracketed quasi-cornice. To the left, there is a 20-pane sash window on the ground floor and a 16-pane sash window on the first floor, both with stone cills. The roof dormer has rendered sides, a bracketed eaves soffit, and a Yorkshire sash window. Additionally, there is a small one-storey extension on the left, which includes a six-panel door and a modern fixed window with glazing bars.
