Description

Bridge Farmhouse and attached outbuildings date from the late 18th century, with some alterations in the 19th century and a 20th-century extension to the right. The building is constructed from sandy limestone rubble, topped with pantile roofs and featuring brick stacks. The farmhouse has a central staircase plan and is two stories high with a three-window front, while a single-storey range of outbuildings is located to the left.

The house features a door made of six raised and fielded panels beneath a divided overlight, flanked by tall two-light, small-pane, horizontal-sliding sash windows. An additional three-light window has been inserted at the altered right end. On the first floor, there are two-light, twelve-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows. All windows have painted stone sills and painted tooled lintels, with the ground floor right lintel being wedge-shaped. The main building has end stacks.

The range of outbuildings includes two blocked openings with timber lintels to the right of center and a single blocked opening at the far left. There is a small four-pane light in the center and a square shuttered opening at the end right. The lean-to at the far left is not of special interest. The house was undergoing renovation at the time of the last survey.
