Description
Church Lane Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage, or possibly earlier, with an outshut added and the structure raised. It is built of rubble sandstone, with the outshut constructed of red brick. The roof is covered in pantiles, and there are brick stacks. The cottage has a central entrance and a single-storey, 3-bay front. A plain front door is flanked by 20th-century windows, all with timber lintels. External brick stacks are located at each end, with the right-hand one being visible. Attic casements are set into the gable ends. The interior is reportedly unmodernised.
