Description

West Farmhouse, the attached cottage, and the farm buildings date from the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension, later 19th-century alterations, and a further 20th-century extension. The buildings are constructed of whitewashed brick and topped with a pantile roof, forming an L-shape. The farmhouse is two stories high with a four-window front, featuring a 20th-century extension on the right. The central right side has a six-panel door with a divided overlight, flanked by 12-pane sash windows, while a 16-pane sash window is located at the left end. The first floor has unequal 9-pane sashes. All openings have cambered brick arches and painted stone sills, with a stepped eaves course. There are stacks at the right end and center left of the hipped roof.

The left return features a two-story cottage front with two windows, where the left part projects. To the left of the cottage is a one-story range of farm buildings. The cottage has a glazed door in the projecting part, with a 20-pane sash window to the left and a similar window on the first floor. The right part of the cottage has a 16-pane sash on the ground floor and a 12-pane sash on the first floor, both with cambered arches on the ground-floor windows and a painted timber lintel on the first floor. The range of farm buildings includes a sliding garage door in a former cart arch to the left of center, two boarded doors to the right of small cross windows at the left end, and wide boarded doors to the right of center and at the right end, with a shuttered opening between. There is also an inserted small-pane window in the center, and all unaltered openings feature painted timber lintels.
