Description
Numbers 1 and 2 Home Farm is a farmhouse that has been converted into two cottages, along with attached farm buildings. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed from coursed, squared stone. The roofs are pantiled, featuring stone copings and square kneelers, with rendered ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and includes four windows in total, with a blank bay on the left side. The windows are Yorkshire sashes, and there are plain boarded doors, including one for No 1 located on the south return. There are also two small pent outshots.
To the north, there is a cartshed and byre that features a rear external stair leading to a plain upper door. From this point, a long one-storey stable range extends westward. This stable range uses similar materials and includes Dutch doors and small fixed lights with glazing bars.
