16/8 Nos 1 & 2 (Home Farm) with attached byre- - cartshed and stables

GV II

Farmhouse, now as 2 cottages, with attached farm buildings. Late C18. Coursed, squared stone. Pantiled roofs with stone copings and square kneelers, rendered ridge stacks. Two storeys, 4 windows in all and blank left bay. Yorkshire sashes and plain boarded doors, that to No 1 on south return. 2 small pent outshots. Cartshed-byre to north has rear external stair to plain upper door. From this a long one-storey stable range runs westward. Similar materials, Dutch doors and small fixed lights with glazing bars.
