It's constructed of large, regularly coursed squared stone, and has a pantiled roof with stone copings, square kneelers, a ridge stone chimney at one end and a chimney at the eaves level of the opposite end. The house has two storeys and originally two windows at the front, with a two-window section set back at the rear. It features 19th-century sash windows within wooden architraves. A glazed door is set within a later porch.
