Description
Pond House is a house from the 18th century, constructed of ashlar stone with a Lakeland slate roof, featuring coped gables and brick stacks at each end. The building is two storeys high and has five windows. It has a plain parapet with a central pediment that includes an oculus. There are bands at both the first floor and eaves level, with two pilasters positioned between them. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The central entrance is highlighted by an open-pedimented Doric doorcase, which has a patterned fanlight above it. On either side of the main structure, there are one-storey wings, each with a single bay and parapet fronts.
