Description
School Farmhouse and outbuilding to the east is a combined farmhouse and cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared stone and features a Lakeland slate roof. It has a through-passage plan with the cottage located on the right side. The structure is two storeys high and has three wide windows. There are off-centre end stone stacks, and it includes early and later 19th century sash windows with glazing bars, as well as one tripartite window with a central opening light. The entrance is marked by a part-glazed door. Additionally, there is a long one-storey extension to the left that is covered with pantiles.
