Description

Woodleigh House, Woodleigh Cottage, Chestnut Barn and return wall comprise two dwellings built between the early and mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed squared stone, with a roof of a mix of slate and concrete pantiles. The larger house, to the left, is four bays wide and has a hip-ended roof with two stone stacks. It features sash windows with glazing bars, and louvred shutters. A half-glazed door is set within a prostyle Doric porch, above an oblong fanlight. A lower two-bay section adjoins the main house to the north, also with sash windows and glazing bars. An outhouse range is located to the north of this, and a coped stone wall runs eastward along the road boundary.
