Description
Numbers 1 and 2 and the barn at Spring Farmhouse Delves are early 19th-century buildings located on the west side of Butternab Lane in Netherton. The farmhouse is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. It has three storeys at the front, with stone brackets supporting the gutter. The ground floor includes two three-light stone mullioned windows, while the first floor has two three-light stone mullioned windows and one casement window. The second floor is adorned with three three-light stone mullioned windows. Additionally, there is a monolithic stone water tank on the property.
To the east, there is a barn extension that is two storeys high, featuring barn doors and two other planked doors, one of which is a stable door. The barn also has various single light windows. Number 1 is an 18th-century building with two storeys and two ranges of casement windows.
