Description

Butternab Farmhouse and Cottage date from the 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has a pitched stone slate roof. The east gable is coped and features moulded kneelers. The building is two storeys high. There are lean-to outshuts with catslide roofs on each side of the main structure. Most windows are 19th-century sash windows, except for a range of casements at the west end.
