Description

Tolson House is an 18th or early 19th century building of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. It has two storeys and originally comprised three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars in moulded surrounds; those on the ground floor have moulded cornices. A door with six panels, four of which are fielded, is set within a surround featuring Tuscan pilasters and an entablature. The rear elevation features two ranges of stone mullioned casements with glazing bars.
